We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 8/80 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Sayyid Sultan bin Hamad bin Saud Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed an advisor to the Ministry of Social Development with his same current grade.
Article II
Dr Mohammed bin Hafidh bin Ali Al-Dhahab is hereby appointed an advisor to the Ministry of Manpower with his same current grade.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Schedule of the Salaries, Allowances, and Stipends of Judges, Members of the Administrative Court, and Members of the Public Prosecution issued by Royal Decree 110/2000 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
A new paragraph is hereby added to the mentioned Schedule of the Salaries, Allowances, and Stipends of Judges, Members of the Administrative Court, and Members of the Public Prosecution, with the following text:
The disbursement of the judicial stipend must be suspended in the following cases:
(a) Upon transfer to other positions to which this schedule does not apply.
(b) For the period of the scholarship or study grant.
(c) For the period of study leave with salary if it exceeds two months during one year.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

and the Trade Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand signed in Muscat on 8 June 1998,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned Trade Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand is hereby ratified.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
