Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96, and the Framework Convention on Civil Defence Assistance signed in Geneva on 31 July 2001, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned convention is hereby ratified.

Article II

Ambassador Mohammed bin Yousuf bin Dawood Shalwani, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
