We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Brigadier Abdullah bin Saleh bin Khalfan Al-Habsi is hereby promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed Head of the Internal Security Service.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from 1 September 1992.

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 31/91 Establishing a Supreme Committee for Vocational Training and Labour,
and Royal Decree 115/91 Establishing a Vocational Training Authority,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The following articles of the Basic Statute of the Vocational Training Authority are hereby amended as follows:
Article 4
The management of the authority must be undertaken by a board composed as follows:
| – Minister of Civil Service | Chairman |
| – President of the authority | Deputy chairman |
| – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour for Labour Affairs | Member |
| – The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service. | Member |
| – A representative of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, whose grade is not less than a director general | Member |
| – A representative of the General Chamber of Commerce and Industry nominated by its Board of Directors | Member |
Article 5, final paragraph
The board may delegate some of its powers to its chairman or the chairman of the authority.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Ambassador Bashir bin Sulayem bin Faraj is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Turkey.

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
