We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 26/77 Issuing the Commercial Agencies Law,
and Royal Decree 3/83 on the Law Governing Omani Nationality (article 7),
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Article 3(a) of the mentioned Royal Decree 26/77, relating to the sole trader is hereby amended to read as follows:
(a) That he is originally of Omani nationality or that three Gregorian years have passed since his naturalisation, and that he is habitually resident in Oman.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
