Royal Decree 8/75 Appointing the Advisor for Oil Affairs in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil and Minerals as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman and as its Chief Executive Officer in Addition to His Work (Repealed)

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

In pursuance of public interest,

and based on the matters presented to Us by the Deputy Chairman of the Financial Affairs Council,

and after referring to the Banking Law issued in 1974,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Dr Yousef Nematullah is hereby appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman and its Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 January 1975, provided that he remains Advisor for Oil Affairs at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals.

Article 2

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it must be published in the Official Gazette.
