We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
In pursuance of public interest and in Our keenness to fully preserve the water resources of the Sultanate in order to utilise these resources for development purposes,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
A council named the Water Resources Council is hereby formed as follows:
Minister of Agriculture, Oil, and Minerals Chairman
Minister of Transportation Member
Minister of Interior Member
Article 2
The Water Resources Council shall provide consultancy services to the Development Council in all matters relating to water resources in the Sultanate.
Article 3
Those concerned shall implement this decree from its date, and it must be published in the Official Gazette.
