We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State of 1975, and in particular article 3 of it,
and after perusal of the Law on Oil and Minerals issued by Our Royal Decree 42/74 dated 18 November 1974, and based on the matters presented to Us by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Said Ahmed Al-Shanfari, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals, is hereby granted the right to approve and sign on Our behalf the draft agreement concerning the granting of an oil exploration concession to the American company Quintana in the Saneena area.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.
