Royal Decree 6/76 Changing the Name of the “Directorate of Defence” to the “Ministry of Defence”

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

In pursuance of public interest, We hereby decide to change the name of the Directorate of Defence to the Ministry of Defence.

All mandates of the current Directorate of Defence are hereby entrusted to the Ministry of Defence.

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication.
