We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State 26/75, and its amendments,
and after perusal of the Oil Exploration Agreement in the Southern Region between the Government of the Sultanate, DEMINEX – DEUTSCHE ERDÖLVERSORGUNGSGESELLSCHAFT MBH, AGIP S.P.A., and BP Petroleum Development Limited signed on 12 October 1977,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The Oil Exploration Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the mentioned companies, signed on 12 October 1977, is hereby ratified.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.
