Royal Decree 52/78 Appointing an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of article 64 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Counseller Ahmed Hamoud Al-Maamari is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate to the Republic of India.

Article 2

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force on the date of its issuance and must be published in the Official Gazette.
