Royal Decree 7/79 Appointing the Ambassador of the Sultanate to the Republic of India as a Non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ambassador Ahmed Hamoud Al-Maamari, Our ambassador to the Republic of India, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Article 2

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force on the date of its issuance and must be published in the Official Gazette.
