Royal Decree 21/79 Appointing the Ambassador of the Sultanate to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as a Non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Syrian Arab Republic

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of article 10 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ambassador Nizar Mohammed Ali, Our ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate to the Syrian Arab Republic.

Article 2

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force on the date of its issuance, and must be published in the Official Gazette.
