We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of article 14 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ambassador Farid Mubarak Ali Al-Hinai, Our ambassador to the United States of America, is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.
Article 2
Ambassador Sadiq Jawad Suleiman is hereby transferred from the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate to the United States of America.
Article 3
Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from 2 July 1979, and must be published in the Official Gazette.
