Royal Decree 47/79 Transferring the Ambassador of the Sultanate to the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Headquarters of the Foreign Ministry and Transferring of the Ambassador of the Sultanate to the State of Kuwait to the Islamic Republic of Iran

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of article 14 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ambassador Malallah Ali Habib, Our ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.

Article 2

Ambassador Qasim Abdulrasool Al-Jamali is hereby transferred from Our embassy in the State of Kuwait to be an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Article 3

Those concerned shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from 15 July 1979, and must be published in the Official Gazette.
