We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of article 14 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ambassador Mohammed Said Al-Marhoon, Our ambassador to the Yemen Arab Republic, is hereby transferred to be an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Iraq.
Article 2
Counsellor Abdullah Said Rashid Al-Balushi is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Yemen Arab Republic.
Article 3
Those concerned shall implement this decree from its date, and it must be published in the Official Gazette.
