We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 43/77 Establishing the Education and Vocational Training Council,
Royal Decree 4/78 Recomposing the Council,
and Royal Decree 28/79 Amending the Formation of the Council of Ministers,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The composition of the Education and Vocational Training Council established by the mentioned Royal Decree 43/77 is hereby amended as follows under Our chairmanship:
Minister of National Heritage and Culture Deputy chairman
Minister of Education Member
Minister of Social Affairs and Labour Member
Minister of Commerce and Industry Member
Minister of Justice Member
Minister of Oil and Minerals Member
Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Member
Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Member
Minister of Information and Youth Affairs Member
Undersecretary of the Directorate General of Finance Member
A representative of the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour Secretary general of the council
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
