We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,
Royal Decree 48/76 regarding the Signing of Foreign and Domestic Financial Transactions and its amendments,
and the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and Amoco Oman Petroleum Company signed on 26 April 1981 Between the Minister of Oil and Minerals representing the Sultanate and the mentioned company, and its amendment dated 5 May 1981,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The mentioned Petroleum Agreement signed Between the Government of the Sultanate represented by the Minister of Oil and Minerals and Amoco Oman Petroleum Company is hereby ratified.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
