We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
the Constitution of the World Health Organization,
and the resolution of the General Assembly of the World Health Organization, at its thirty-first session held in May 1978, on the amendment of the text of article 74 of its constitution,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The amendment of article 74 of the Constitution of the World Health Organization is hereby ratified, in accordance with the resolution of the mentioned organisation at its thirty-first session, by deleting the original article 74 and replacing it with the amended article 74 as follows:
The texts of this Constitution in Spanish, English, Russian, Chinese, Arabic and French are equally authentic.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
