We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
the Omani Banking Law 7/74, and in particular article 2-6.1 of it,
Royal Decree 25/75 Forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,
Royal Decree 32/78 Appointing a Member to the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,
and Royal Decree 62/81 Renewing the Membership of Some Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ahmed Abdulnabi Makki is hereby appointed a member of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman in the position that became vacant due to the resignation of Mr M. J. Brown from the membership of the board, provided that he holds this position during the unexpired period of the resigning member.
Article 2
The membership of Yahya Mohammed Naseeb in the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby renewed for a period of five years starting from 15 June 1982.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.
