We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 52/75 Regarding the Tender Statute,
and Royal Decree 93/82 Appointing a Chairman of the Tender Board,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Without prejudice to the mentioned Royal Decree 93/82, the Tender Board is hereby recomposed as follows:
– Minister of Land Affairs and Municipalities Deputy chairman
– Minister of Electricity and Water Deputy chairman
– Minister of State and Chairman of the Musandam Development Committee Member
– Undersecretary of the Ministry of Royal Diwan Affairs Member
– Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport Member
– Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Member
– Undersecretary of Financial Affairs Member
– Advisor to the Ministry of Land Affairs and Municipalities and Supervisor of the Directorate of Public Works Member
– A representative of the relevant ministry
Article 2
The board shall exercise its powers in accordance with the provisions of the current Tender Statute issued by the mentioned Royal Decree 52/75, until the issuance of the Law on Tenders and Its Statute.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
