We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 48/83 Adopting the Mandates of the Ministry of Transport,
and Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Salim Ahmed Khalfan is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for Roads, Ports, and Public Transport Affairs.
Article 2
Sayyid Sami bin Hamad bin Hamoud is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for Civil Aviation and Meteorology Affairs.
Article 3
The mentioned Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Transport is hereby amended in implementation of the foregoing.
Article 4
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from 1 November 1983.
