We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
His Excellency Sayyid Al-Mu’tasim bin Hamoud bin Nasr is hereby appointed Governor of the Capital, while remaining Chairman of the Musandam Development Committee.
Article 2
Sayyid Abdulhamid bin Yarub Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed Deputy Governor of the Capital.
Article 3
Royal Decree 95/81 is hereby repealed.
Article 4
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
