Royal Decree 34/84 on the Application of the Provisions of the Law of the Employees of the Diwan of Royal Court Affairs to the Employees of the Capital Municipality

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Law 4 of 1975 Reorganising the Capital Municipality,

Royal Decree 18/84 Transferring the Responsibility of Supervising the Capital Municipality to the Diwan of Royal Court Affairs,

and Royal Decree 31/84 Amending the Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Royal Court Affairs,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The provisions of the Law Concerning the Employee Statute of the Diwan of Royal Court Affairs issued by Royal Decree 47/80 and its amendments hereby apply to the employees of the Capital Municipality referred to in articles 21 and 29 of the mentioned Law 4/75.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 April 1984.
