Royal Decree 44/84 Ratifying the Amended Agreement on the Gulf Postal Service Authority

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 10/80 Ratifying the General Statute of the Gulf Post Authority,

Royal Decree 3/82 Ratifying the Additional Protocol to the First Congress of the Gulf Post Authority held in Baghdad in 1978, the Postal Agreement, and the Additional Protocol to the Extraordinary Conference of the Gulf Post Authority held in the City of Abha in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1981,

and the decisions of the Conference of the Gulf Post Authority held in the City of Doha in the State of Qatar from 9 to 14 April 1983 and the amended Postal Agreement of the Gulf Post Authority,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The amended Postal Agreement of the Gulf Post Authority signed in the city of Doha in the State of Qatar on 14 April 1983 and approved by the mentioned Gulf Post Authority Congress is hereby ratified.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its publication.
