We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
A ministry is hereby established named the Ministry of Environment and Sayyid Shabib bin Taimur is hereby appointed its minister.
Article 2
Royal Decree 12/81, as amended by Royal Decree 43/81, is hereby repealed.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
