Royal Decree 102/84 Ratifying the Protocol Relating to an Amendment to the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

the decision of the General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organisation at its twenty-fifth extraordinary session in Montreal on 10 May 1984 approving the amendment of the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago 1944) by adding a new article to it under number 3bis,

and the protocol relating to the mentioned amendment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The mentioned Protocol Relating to an Amendment to the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago 1944) by adding a new article to it under number 3bis is hereby ratified.

Article 2

The relevant entities shall undertake the necessary measures to implement the mentioned amendment, each within the limits of its mandate.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
