We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and the Police Law 5/1973,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Brigadier Nayef bin Obaid Al-Salami is hereby promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police and Customs.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from 1 July 1985.
