Royal Decree 83/85 Granting Omani Nationality

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 3/83 on the Law Governing Omani Nationality,

Royal Decree 81/84 on the Statute of Government Land Entitlement,

and Royal Decree 82/84 Amending an Article of Royal Decree 26/77,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Omani nationality is hereby granted to the following, with their exemption from the period requirement for government land entitlement or for authorisation to practise commercial agency business, in implementation of the provisions of the mentioned Royal Decrees 81/84 and 82/84.

– Mohammed bin Adam bin Ishaq.

– Abdulhameed bin Adam bin Ishaq.

– Ibrahim bin Ahmed bin Siddiq.

– Jaafar bin Ahmed bin Siddiq.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
