Royal Decree 12/87 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ambassador Abdulhussain bin Ali Abdullatif—Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Guinea and the Republic of Sierra Leone.

Article 2

Ahmed bin Yousuf bin Obaid Al-Harthi—Our ambassador to the Republic of India—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Maldives and the Kingdom of Nepal.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
