Royal Decree 76/87 Appointing an Ambassador of the Sultanate to the People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen and the Republic of India

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Counsellor Mohammed bin Salim bin Mohammed Al-Hajri is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen.

Article 2

Counsellor Salim bin Mohammed bin Salim Al-Wahaibi is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of India.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
