We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 43/80 Establishing the Public Authority for Telecommunications,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Telecommunications is hereby recomposed as follows:
– Minister of Post, Telegraph, and Telephone Chairman
– Minister of Transportation Deputy chairman
– Undersecretary of Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and Economy Member
– Executive president of the authority Member
– A representative of the Ministry of Defence selected by the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Member
– Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information for Financial and Administrative Affairs Member
– Advisor of Telecommunications at the Ministry of Post, Telegraph, and Telephone Member
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
