We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and the Documents of the Universal Postal Union Congress held in Hamburg in 1984,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The documents of the mentioned Universal Postal Union Congress held in Hamburg in 1984 are hereby ratified in regard to the following matters:
1. The Constitution of the Universal Postal Union as amended by the Additional Protocols of Tokyo 1969, Lausanne 1974, and Hamburg 1984, and its Third Additional Protocol.
2. The General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union and the Internal Regulations of Conferences annexed to it.
3. The Universal Postal Convention, its Final Protocol, and its Implementing Regulations.
4. The Postal Parcel Agreement, its Final Protocol, and its Implementing Regulations.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
