We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and the documents of the Twelfth Congress of the Arab Postal Union held in Damascus from 7 to 17 September 1985,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The documents of the mentioned Twelfth Congress of the Arab Postal Union are hereby ratified in regard to the following matters:
1. The Constitution of the Arab Postal Union, and the agreement annexed to it, concluded between the League of Arab States and the Arab Postal Union.
2. The General Regulations and the Internal Regulation of Conferences annexed to it.
3. The Arab Postal Agreement and Its Implementing Regulations.
4. The Postal Parcel Agreement.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
