We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
Royal Decree 53/88 Issuing the Muscat Securities Market Law,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Board of Directors of the Muscat Securities Market is hereby formed as follows:
1. Minister of Commerce and Industry — Chairman
2. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry — Deputy Chairman
3. Director General of the Market — Member
4. Director General of Commerce at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry — Member
5. Director General of Income and Investments at the Ministry of Finance and Economy — Member
6. Director of the Research and Statistics Directorate at the Central Bank of Oman — Member
7. Zahir bin Hamad Al-Harthi — Member
8. Dr Ali bin Moosa — Member
9. Salim bin Said Al-Araimi — Member
10. Ahmed bin Mahfoodh Al-Sheikh — Member
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
