Royal Decree 33/89 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Sayyid Khalid bin Qais bin Khalid—Our ambassador to the Republic of Korea—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of the Philippines.

Article II

Ambassador Dawood bin Hamdan bin Abdullah—Our ambassador to the Empire of Japan—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to Australia.

Article III

Ambassador Rashid bin Nasser bin Sulaiman Al-Lamki—Our ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Niger.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
