Royal Decree 39/89 Ratifying the Memorandum of Understanding Between the Government of the Sultanate and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Formation of a Joint Economic Cooperation Committee

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 89/88 Authorising the Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding Between the Government of the Sultanate and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Formation of a Joint Economic Cooperation Committee,

and the mentioned memorandum of understanding signed in Tehran on 28 December 1988,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Memorandum of Understanding Between the Government of the Sultanate and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Formation of a Joint Economic Cooperation Committee is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
