Royal Decree 69/89 Appointing a Non-resident Ambassador to Each of the Republic of Cyprus and the Republic of Colombia

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Ali bin Salim bin Bader Al-Hinai—Our ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Cyprus.

Article II

Ambassador Salim bin Mohammed bin Salim Al-Khusaibi—Our Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Colombia.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
