We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 47/80 Issuing the Law Concerning the Employee System of the Diwan of Royal Court,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Engineer Abdullah bin Abbas bin Ahmed is hereby appointed Chairman of Muscat Municipality.
Article II
Sheikh Ahmed bin Sultan bin Saif Al-Hosni is hereby appointed Advisor in the Diwan of Royal Court.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
