Royal Decree 54/90 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Rashid bin Nasser bin Sulaiman Al-Lamki—Our ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Ghana.

Article II

Ambassador Muneer bin Abdulnabi bin Yousuf Makki—Our ambassador to the French Republic—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Chad.

Article III

Ambassador Hamad bin Hilal bin Ali Al-Maamari—Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Kenya.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
