Royal Decree 64/90 Approving the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations Convention on Conditions for Registration of Ships

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the United Nations Convention on Conditions for Registration of Ships signed in New York,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations Convention on Conditions for Registration of Ships is hereby approved.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instruments of accession with the Secretariat-General of the United Nations in accordance with the provisions of the convention.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
