Royal Decree 89/91 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Royal Oman Police

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 35/90 Issuing the Police Law,

and the approved Organisational Structure of the Royal Oman Police,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Organisational Structure of the Royal Oman Police approved by Us hereby applies from 2 November 1991.

Article II

The phrase “Deputy Inspectors General of Police and Customs” is hereby amended wherever it appears to read as “Assistant Inspectors General of Police and Customs”.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.
