We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Hilal bin Salim bin Hamoud Al-Siyabi—Our ambassador to the State of Kuwait—is hereby transferred and appointed an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ours to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
Article 2
Mussalam bin Bakheet bin Zaidan Al-Baraami—Our ambassador to the Republic of Sudan—is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.
Article 3
Counsellor Salim bin Abdullah bin Barham Baomar is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ours to the State of Kuwait.
Article 4
Counsellor Mohammed bin Ali bin Thani Al-Khusaibi is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ours to Japan.
Article 5
Counsellor Mahmoud bin Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rahma is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Sudan.
Article 6
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
