We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea dated 10 December 1982,
Royal Decree 67/89 ratifying the mentioned convention,
and the agreement relating to the implementation of part XI of the mentioned convention,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned Agreement Relating to the Implementation of Part XI of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea dated 10 December 1982 is hereby approved.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
