Royal Decree 83/96 Regarding the Assignment to Exercise the Mandates Prescribed to the Deputy Prime Minister for Financial and Economic Affairs

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 87/82 Regarding the Competences of the Deputy Prime Minister for Financial and Economic Affairs,

Royal Decree 69/95 Amending the Ministerial Formation,

and Royal Decree 39/96 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of Finance and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Minister Supervising the Ministry of Finance is hereby assigned to exercise the mandates prescribed by royal decrees, laws, systems, and regulations to the Deputy Prime Minister for Financial and Economic Affairs, without prejudice to the mandates prescribed to other ministries and government entities.

Article 2

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
