Royal Decree 64/99 Approving an Amendment to the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 7 December 1975 between the Government of the Sultanate and Quintana International Limited

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Minerals Law issued by Royal Decree 42/74,

Royal Decree 51/75 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 7 December 1975 Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Quintana International Limited,

Royal Decree 93/91 Approving the Assignment by Gulf Oman Petroleum Company Limited of All Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 7 December 1975 to Neste Finance BV,

and the agreement dated 11 April 1999 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Occidental Oman and Neste BV on the amendment of the mentioned petroleum agreement,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The amendment dated 11 April 1999 to the Petroleum Agreement signed on 7 December 1975 between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Quintana International Limited is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
