Royal Decree 59/2001 Recomposing the Tender Board

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law and System of Government Tenders issued by Royal Decree 86/84 and their amendments,

Royal Decree 90/85 Determining the Employment Status of the Position of “Secretary General”,

and Royal Decree 47/2001 Amending the Ministerial Formation,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Tender Board is hereby recomposed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Transport and Communications and the membership of:

– Minister of Regional Municipalities, Environment, and Water Resources—Deputy chairman.

– Minister of Housing, Electricity, and Water.

– Minister of Civil Service.

– Undersecretary of the Ministry of National Economy for Economic Affairs.

– Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for Financial Affairs.

– Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for Commerce and Industry.

– A representative of the relevant ministry.

– Juma bin Ali bin Juma Al Juma—Secretary general.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
