Royal Decree 62/2002 Appointing a Non-resident Ambassador

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Ali bin Ahmed bin Harib Al-Issai, Our ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
