Royal Decree 85/2005 Establishing a Consulate General for the Sultanate in the City of Melbourne in Australia

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law promulgated by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

A consulate general for the Sultanate is hereby established in the city of Melbourne in Australia

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
