We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State issued by Royal Decree 26/75 and its amendments,
Royal Decree 61/96 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 61/2004 Establishing the Ministry of Tourism and Appointing a Minister for It,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mandates of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry are hereby determined in accordance with the attached annex 1.
Article 2
The organisational structure of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is hereby adopted in accordance with the attached annex 2.
Article III
All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article IV
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
