We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Nature Reserves and Wildlife Conservation Law promulgated by Royal Decree 6/2003,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

A nature reserve named “Buraimi Oasis Natural Reserve” is hereby established, and the areas, the dimensions of which are specified in the attached annex and map, are hereby allocated to it.

Article II

The President of the Environment Authority shall issue the regulations and decisions for implementing this decree in coordination with the relevant entities, and they must include the mechanism for managing the reserve, rules governing public entry, prescribed fees, timing of visits, permitted activities, banned activities, and appropriate administrative penalties in each case.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Swiss Federal Council concerning the Employment Authorization of Accompanying Persons of Official Employees signed in the city of Muscat on 30 November 2023,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and after presentation to Majlis Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached Biometrics Law shall apply.

Article II

The Inspector General of Police and Customs shall issue the executive regulation of the attached law.

Article III

All that is contrary to the attached law, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
